The Laboratory of Agricultural Mechatronics and Robotics is an interdisciplinary academic and research center within the Department of Agrotechnology at the University of Tehran. Founded in 2008 by Associate Professor of College of Abouraihan _ Dr. Jafar Massah, the Laboratory of Agricultural Mechatronics and Robotics is a premier agricultural robotics incubator which fosters collaboration among students, research staff and faculty focusing on fundamental research in farm robotics, automation, walking and running robots, robotic grippers and arms, biosensors and guard robots. The Laboratory of Agricultural Mechatronics and Robotics at the University of Tehran is an interdisciplinary lab dedicated to research and education in agricultural robotics and intelligent systems consisting of dozens graduate students under supervision of faculty professors. The Lab provides suitable environment for experiments and significant computing power for modeling and testing as well as electrical and mechanical manufacturing and prototyping machinery.
